I completely support buffing the paladin's tanking ability and the kronos DPS.
I have a reasonable setup w/ my kronos(3x GN mag field stabs) w/ a +5/+3% implants t2 guns w/ t1 ammo and a flight of t2 hammerheads and hobs.
EFT says I do about 700 dps. The only benefit i get from the drones is multitasking. I sick my drones on frigs & cruisers while my bs takes out the BS and BCs. To me the issue is I'd be doing the same thing in the paladin but the paladin has more real dps (from guns). Drones are pretty much fixed dps across all races. The gallente marauder doesn't get a bonus to their dmg so they seem like a pretty moot point. How the pilot uses them is up to them, but I'm not sending my drones after a BS target that will be dead or mostly dead before they get there.

I have about 9m SP in gunnery and 1m SP in drones.
I'll post my fit later, after which, I'll call BS on your 1k dps 'easy' until you post a fit you claim will reach this number.

EFT shows 704 dps w/ drones and a 732 dps tank. Upgrading to Faction Antimatter pushes the DPS up to 823. This is with my skills. When I put all skills to 5 I get 912 dps which is not close to your 1000dps.

naw, i think you have the 5% ROF implant too. i'm not using that one.
edit: domi can break 1k dps with a lot less work/isk than all this too.
edit2: vindicator can also break 1k dps easier than this

So this is a cool thread and all but am i right in my seeing from this topic that the kronos and the paladin lag behind the golem and the vargur. It also seems the kronos lacks dps and the paladin lacks tank.
I'd also think that most people, where it concerns mission running, would be more interested in DPS than tank.
